Project Engineer (m/f/d) Battery Quick Check - Munich based

About the role

Our battery quick check team develops an innovative and novel product, a battery report for used electric vehicles. We are responsible for the whole development process from the concept stage to the final customer deployment and the product ramp-up including several iterations and variants.  

To strengthen our team, we are looking for an enthusiastic hands-on Project Engineer (m/f/d). With your analytical and creative way of thinking you will support the team in an agile fast-paced environment to roll out the Battery Quick Check on the market and continuously improve the product. In this position, you will have a wide range of tasks. You are responsible for planning and coordinating your own projects and then implementing them yourself. With your results you impact the success of the Battery Quick Check.

Your daily business will involve

  • Gather customer feedback and requirements to contribute to product development    
  • Implement and test new product features together with software and battery engineers 
  • Coordinate and conduct product tests with various EV models
  • Analyze product tests and battery measurements and visualize the results  
  • Implement and demonstrate product versions for dedicated key customers and markets 
  • Prepare and coordinate technical demonstrations for new customers   
  • You work together in a small, cross-functional team of product managers, UI/UX designers, software and battery engineers to develop the battery quick check in a “you build it, you run it” environment   

Your profile

  • You have a Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, information technology or equivalent  
  • You have already 1+ years of working experience in product development; relevant working experience as student is also considered 
  • Excellent programming skills in Python, additional programming skills (Matlab, Javascript etc.) are a benefit for us
  • Experience in data processing and data analytics with python
  • Product development experience in the battery or automotive sector is a plus 
  • Experience in cloud technologies (e.g. AWS) is a plus 
  • You have the driving license for Germany 
  • Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks at a time and drive them to successful completion  
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English, German is a plus
