Your daily business will involve
You are part of the 12 member People & Culture team, which combines the people topics Operations, Recruiting, Development, Employer Branding as well as Office Management and IT System Administration. With your responsibility for the People Operations & Benefits area together with a team of 3 people, you will contribute significantly to the implementation of our P&C vision "We are people centric and create a workplace you love". The focus of your task essentially includes:
- Driving, designing and supporting national and international Comp & Ben topics (including our internal Company Events) in coordination with our CPCO.
- Coordinating the team responsibility for all questions and topics related to People Operations & Benefits of internal (team members, team leads) and external stakeholders (health insurance companies, tax advisors, audits, immigration authorities, service providers...) as well as the respective reporting
- The responsibility for a reliable and correct payroll under inclusion and control of (international) external service providers,
- The design and support of the associated processes including their digitalization and automation (e.g. Personio)
- The creation of "A Workspace you love", which is also visible and tangible in our offices. A place where we work together productively and connected.
- The ownership for projects in the area of People Operations & Benefits or contributor to projects to improve or automate and scale according to the company development (content as well as culture).
- Last, but not least, supporting and coaching team members in their professional and personal development as well as exemplifying the Company (leadership) culture.
Your profile
- You already have first experience in a leadership role within a generalist people function in a high-growth, international scale-up in the tech sector and identify with a servant leadership style.
- You have strong consulting skills and have proven your ability and mindset to work in a team, both as a team leader and as part of the team.
- You have experience in the application of German labor, payroll tax and social security law as well as in global relocation issues and want to "stay ahead" not only here. You have a radar for international legal issues and know when to bring in external specialists.
- You are a prudent, self-organized, structured and resilient personality who is committed to making a difference and for whom TWAICE & Purpose are an authentic combination.
- You have the entrepreneurial drive to develop things from scratch or constantly improve them in consistency with business development and implement them with agility.
- Your project management skills are proven, you are proficient in analyzing complex topics, communicating in a way that is appropriate for the target audience and pragmatically leading to an output.
- You are very accurate and reliable - at the same time a mindset of trial and error and the "appropriate" error culture (ok in projects, less so in payroll).
- Your excellent communication skills in German and English enable you to build trusting, long-term relationships. If there is a human error, you know how to resolve such situations in an appreciative way.
- Last but not least, you have a high affinity for numbers and are proficient in MS Office. To be precise, we work a lot with Teams, Outlook, Slack, Miro, Excel and PPT as well as Confluence, Jira and Sharepoint.
